On March 28, 2025, The Joy of Life made a stop in Thessaloniki at the Municipal Theatre of Kalamaria “Melina Merkouri,” marking the second stop of the European tour. This diverse and international company—a true collective of artists with and without disabilities—moves in unison, giving voice to the uniqueness of what is different and foreign, harmoniously integrating it into the performance.
At the heart of this project are fundamental values such as inclusion, diversity, equality, and accessibility, which invite the audience to overcome stereotypical and conventional perceptions of the social system. Visual arts, theater, and multimedia arts merge under the inspiration of music, creating an engaging and transformative experience.
By the end of the performance, audiences leave changed, enriched, with a new perspective and a heightened sensitivity.
